Y Meadows, AI Quote and Order Entry Automation for Manufacturers and Distributors, is led by co-founders Alan Rich, CEO, and Adam Rich, Vice President of Technology, alongside Tom Stratton, Director of Product Management, and Jacob Rich, Director of Machine Learning. Together they've spent decades building enterprise software, platform infrastructure, machine learning, and product at scale.

Alan Rich, Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer

Alan Rich is co-founder and CEO of Y Meadows.

Previously Alan co-founded Chrome River Technologies. He took the company from a concept to a global software leader with more than 2 million users at over 750 organizations (including some of the largest companies in the world). Alan left Chrome River in May 2019 after a successful exit.

Previously Alan co-founded Elite Information Group, the global standard in financial and practice management applications for law firms and professional services organizations. After Elite became part of Thomson Reuters, Alan held the position of Chief Strategist at Thomson Elite.

Alan holds a B.A. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.Phil in economics from Nuffield College, Oxford University.

Adam Rich

Adam Rich, Co-founder & Vice President of Technology

Adam Rich is the Vice President of Technology and Co-founder of Y Meadows, where he leads the engineering and DevOps teams.

Prior to Y Meadows, Adam was a Principal Engineer on the Platform Architecture team at OpenTable, a division of Booking Holdings. Previously, he served as a Senior Software Engineer on the Core Services team at eHarmony.

Adam is passionate about leveraging the latest advances in artificial intelligence and software engineering to solve real-world problems. He holds a Master of Computer and Information Technology degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Director of Product Management

Tom Stratton

Tom Stratton, Director of Product Management

Tom Stratton is Director of Product Management at Y Meadows, where he leads product strategy for the company’s AI-powered workflow automation platform.

Since joining in 2020, he has guided Y Meadows’ move from customer-support automation into order processing and document automation, helping businesses turn purchase orders, emails and other unstructured documents into completed transactions in their ERP and business systems.

Before Y Meadows, Tom spent nearly five years at Warner Bros., where he led the product effort to replace a legacy vendor system with an in-house media asset management platform used across six business units. While there, he was named as an inventor on three U.S. patents in video technology, covering streaming reliability, multi-version video packaging, and matching an actor’s mouth movements to dubbed audio.

Earlier in his career he built data pipelines and production-tracking systems for film and television visual effects, including the 3D conversion of the feature film Immortals. Tom holds a BASc in Engineering Physics from the University of British Columbia.

Jacob Rich, Director of Machine Learning

Jacob Rich leads the AI team at Y Meadows, bringing expertise in applied machine learning and NLP.

He holds a masters degree in Scientific Computing from NYU and has previously worked at Apple and other technology companies, developing machine learning solutions across a range of applications.

He is passionate about applying advances in AI into practical, real-world impact.
